Project Transition
- You will be assigned a project manager to guide you through the project transition from your in-house manufacturing to Tabtronics.
Prior to Tabtronics manufacturing your printed circuit board (PCB), you need to choose how you want to transition your project. Choices are:
- Tabtronics can buy your material in transition to (Turn-Key) (i.e. existing inventory, if usable) from prior stages (prototypes, pre-production, and/or final production
- You Place the Order & Pay for the Parts. Drop-ship your materials to us and we manage your parts. We’ll check the shipment against your P.O. and check for the correct part #, part, and quantity. We’ll send the document of receipt back to you.
- Benefit to You? This results in a cost savings to you by avoiding a material mark-up. This is less than what we would charge you to manage your inventory.
- Why Do This? This is a good option for those of you who want to internally manage there long lead items to assure that you don’t run out of inventory for any products. You are responsible for knowing your end-of-life for parts and you can make volume purchases.
