Management System

Tabtronics has created a Management System that consists of:

• Qualified people
• Planned processes
• Capable equipment and facilities
• Quality materials, and
• Accurate measurement and test capabilities

Processes are monitored and products are inspected to determine if specifications are being met.  Audits are performed to determine compliance to the documented Management Systems.  Action is taken when nonconformance occur to prevent the problem from recurring.  Also, modifications or improvements may be made to the Management System.  Performance indicators are monitored and proactive measures are taken to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the management system. This ongoing cycle is regarded as the standard model for continuous improvement.

In support of this policy, each employee is empowered to take any action necessary to ensure that customer requirements will be met in the most effective and efficient manner.  This may include stopping production until a quality issues are resolved. It is also the responsibility of each employee to adhere to the requirements of the management system, and when possible, suggest improvements.

Process Quality Controls

• 3D Solder Paste Measurement. We feel the paste process is the most critical step in the SMT process so we use a three dimensional paste measuring machine to verify the application of the solder paste. This insures uniform and equal application of paste from one end of the board array to the other.
• Automated Optical Inspection. 100% of all circuit boards manufactured by Tabtronics are inspected by our in-house automated optical inspection equipment.
• X-Ray Inspection of BGA’s. Our 90 kVA X-Ray inspection equipment measures and prints out results of the X-Ray providing documented results of the quality of your product.
• Functional testing performed to you specifications. Our Philosophy is to do the least amount of testing to get the maximum product yield. Product testing can easily be over-performed. This assures you, the customer, are getting the most cost-effective approach to end-product performance.
• Board Support – Grid lock system.
• AOI – Automatic Optical Inspection
• Microscope Verification – Check for off-skew parts, missing parts, tombstone parts (parts flipped up on their sides)
• Shipping:  Your circuit boards are shipped in electrostatic boxes or anti-static nickel bags to assure they arrive factory fresh at your door
